Kevin And Don Respond To Being Self Loathing

Looking back at their journey from the Stonewall Democratic Club to Log Cabin Republicans, they claim it was one that was actually started by the democrats. After being told that marriage as not a priority on the agenda in 1995, they became disillusioned with the DEMS. For a decade they felt like they did not belong until they met the republicans of the Log Cabin Republican Club and discovered they too shared a dream of marriage equality. This blog is now a digital time capsule of their time as Republicans and moderated by a friend and supporter.

#SOSWEHO and Bob Valentine

This weekend marks significant points for our two Log Cabin members running for office, Bob Valentine for State Senate and Scott Schmidt for West Hollywood City Council.

With Bob's election just six days away, his campaign is mounting their final rounds of campaign mailers and precinct walks. Visit his website at:

Scott joined the rest of the candidates last night at a candidates debate/forum hosted by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and it was clear that the anti-incumbant mood in the City is ripe for an upset. Check out Scott's website for a link to the video of the debate and a schedule of events coming in the final weeks of his campaign:

The Republican Party depends and relies on Log Cabin Republicans for our participation. As good Republicans, we know that change starts in our community, and we thank our members for their support of our candidates who are carrying on the message of limited government, personal freedom, small government and a strong national defense by placing themselves before voters for election.

Make an impact by contributing to their campaigns, making phone calls or walking a precinct this weekend!
