Kevin And Don Respond To Being Self Loathing
Looking back at their journey from the Stonewall Democratic Club to Log Cabin Republicans, they claim it was one that was actually started by the democrats. After being told that marriage as not a priority on the agenda in 1995, they became disillusioned with the DEMS. For a decade they felt like they did not belong until they met the republicans of the Log Cabin Republican Club and discovered they too shared a dream of marriage equality. This blog is now a digital time capsule of their time as Republicans and moderated by a friend and supporter.

Schwarzenegger's Approval Rating at 63%-1/12/2007
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's approval rating has soared to 63% among Californians according to one of the most recent polls conducted. What is interesting is that his approval rating is over 50% for conservative Southern California (excluding Los Angeles County).
As the governor begings his new tern of post partisianship, I wish him good luck. Jesse Ventura tried it and failed but we need new ideas for a new century.
Sure, I am not that happy about a program for health insurance for all California residents (illegal or not), but the papers are reporting that it costs us $1,200 each and the closure of many ERs because we must show humanity and provide health coverage for all--whether here illegal or not. Sure it is controversial and it will probably be introduced by the Democratic Senator who's name escapes me but she played Zelda Gilroy on a TV show when I was a youth, but it is reform. And if it is a redistributation and reduces the individual's $1,200 burden then I might be for it if it places the burden on the companies who hire illegals.
For now, the verdict is OUT.
